Description

Our client in the Restaurant & Hospitality Industry is seeking an experienced Business Leasing Specialist to work remotely in JHB, Gauteng.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial leasing, real estate development, or franchise expansion.
  • Strong negotiation skills and deep understanding of retail leasing practices.
  • Ability to manage relationships with landlords, franchisees, and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • High mobility and willingness to travel extensively within South Africa.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or lease management systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation and Site Identification: Generate high-potential leads, maintain target site lists, and conduct market research for new opportunities.
  2. Lease Negotiation and Site Acquisition: Lead lease negotiations, evaluate site opportunities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to structure lease terms.
  3. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with property owners, landlords, developers, and franchisees.
  4. Franchise and Expansion Support: Assist with site feasibility assessments, location strategy, and organize development seminars.
  5. Financial and Feasibility Analysis: Assess ROI, conduct feasibility studies, and ensure lease terms align with business objectives.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Participate in meetings, provide reports, and maintain leasing documentation.
  7. Travel: Travel extensively within South Africa and occasionally to other African countries for site inspections and stakeholder engagements.

Compensation: Attractive salary plus a healthy commission structure.
