About the Role

Reporting directly to the FCM RSA GM, you'll spearhead the strategic growth and operational excellence of our newly established M&E function in the region.

You'll be responsible for business strategy, people leadership, financial performance, and securing new opportunities in a market ripe for growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define and execute a regional M&E strategy aligned with business objectives
2. Lead, coach, and inspire a team of event professionals
3. Drive new business development and collaborate with Sales & Account Management
4. Oversee event delivery, client engagement, and supplier relationships
5. Leverage innovative event technologies to enhance client experiences
6. Report on financial performance and ensure operational excellence

What We're Looking For

• A visionary leader with at least 10 years' experience in senior M&E roles
• Proven ability to grow business and manage high-level corporate events
• Strong background in team leadership, training, and development
• In-depth knowledge of MICE products, destinations, and suppliers
• Skilled in strategic planning, operations, and budget management
• A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Event management qualification or relevant industry experience
• Experience with Cvent or similar event platforms (advantageous)
