Job Description
The role is responsible for analysing and interpreting data related to the organization's performance in order to inform strategic decision-making.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Sales Director and other business stakeholders to ensure that there are effective sales reports as and when required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Annually assist the Sales Director and the Sales Managers (including medical devices) to create product-based sales targets for the sales team for the following year.
- Make quarterly adjustments as per financial forecast results.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director and Sales Managers (including medical devices) to maintain customer (territory) and product portfolio mapping by sales representative.
- Convert data received from wholesalers monthly and send it to the Global SAP BI team to maintain the Wholesaler Cube.
- Update mapping for the WS and Sales Cube as necessary (e.g., new customers, new products, attribute changes).
- Calculate sales team incentives monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Continuously improve worksheets related to territory, product, rep, and region mapping tables.
- Provide weekly updates to the sales team on sales vs. targets YTD/MTD and 12-month unit sales trend.
- Assist the Sales Director and Sales Managers with adhoc reporting requests, including cycle meetings, sales conferences, and forecasting meetings.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director and medical Devices BUM to build a monthly sales report.
- Continuously improve various reports in terms of format and content.
- Compile Waste Management reports for participating customers.
- Back up the Market Intelligence manager in budgeting, forecasting, and MTS processes.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience in preparing and analysing sales force data (CRM), evaluating performance against targets.
- Solid understanding of financial systems and reporting processes.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant databases and data extraction techniques.
