Job Description
The role is responsible for analysing and interpreting data related to the organization's performance in order to inform strategic decision-making.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Sales Director and other business stakeholders to ensure that there are effective sales reports as and when required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Annually assist the Sales Director and the Sales Managers (including medical devices) to create product-based sales targets for the sales team for the following year.
- Make quarterly adjustments as per Financial Forecast results.
- In collaboration with the Sales Director and Sales Managers (including medical devices), maintain customer (territory) and product portfolio mapping by sales representative.
- Convert data received from Wholesalers monthly and send to the Global SAP BI team to maintain the Wholesaler Cube.
- Update mapping for the WS and Sales Cube as necessary, e.g., new customers, new products, attribute changes.
- Calculate sales team incentives monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Continuously improve various worksheets – Territory / Product / Rep / Region mapping tables.
- Provide the sales team with weekly updates – Sales vs Target YTD / MTD and 12-month unit sales trend.
- Assist the Sales Director / Sales Managers (including medical devices) with ad hoc reporting requests, e.g., cycle meetings and sales conferences, forecasting meetings.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director / Medical Devices BUM to build a monthly sales report.
- Continuously improve various reports, e.g., formats and content.
- Prepare Waste Management reports for participating customers.
- Back up the Market Intelligence manager in budgeting, forecasting, and MTS processes.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience in preparing and analysing sales force data (CRM), evaluating performance against targets.
- Solid understanding of financial systems and reporting processes.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
- Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant databases and data extraction techniques.
