Job Description

To understand the business environment and requirements in order to analyze data and provide relevant analytical and quantitative insights to the business for operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making.

Role Purpose

This role is within PSAS BI (Personal Segment & Advisory Suite) under Retail Data & Analytics, developing and maintaining end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions within the BU.

The role requires an in-depth understanding of business processes, end-to-end Business Intelligence solutioning, and aligning those solutions to business objectives. A Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to work independently and advise the team on solutions and designs.

This role demands a level of maturity above a junior, to effectively engage with stakeholders and support informed decision-making, enabling the building of effective solutions and enhanced customer offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain key relationships across the BI / Data Team
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Advise the team on solutions (Design, Development, and Technology)
  • Requirements gathering and analysis for new and existing solutions/implementations
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Deep domain knowledge of credit, lending, transactional banking products, channels, and marketing (advantageous)
  • Proficiency with coding languages such as SQL, SAS, Teradata
  • Understanding of Data Visualization tools like Power BI (advantageous)
  • Good grasp of technical and business aspects of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
  • Stakeholder management experience across multiple areas in a large organization

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum Qualification: BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or Software Engineering

  • Proficiency in BI Stack is essential; advanced skills in Microsoft BI Stack are advantageous
