Our client, a dynamic player in the people management solutions space, is seeking a Business Analyst who specialises in Payroll-related reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) to join their team.
This is a permanent position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where accuracy in financial reporting is critical.

As the Business Analyst, you'll work closely with both internal People Management and Payroll teams, providing key data insights and robust reporting solutions to support operational decision-making, compliance, and strategic planning.
Your responsibilities will include :
Developing and maintaining accurate, high-impact payroll and People Management reports (monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc)
Designing and automating dashboards and reports using SSRS, DevExpress, and Power BI
Writing advanced T-SQL queries and managing database structures in collaboration with IT
Performing deep-dive analysis into payroll trends, anomalies, and variances for auditing and decision support
Translating business requirements into functional reporting solutions and data models
Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security in all financial and employee reporting
Working across teams to identify opportunities for process automation and reporting enhancements
Supporting statutory and financial audits with accurate and timely data reporting
Required Experience and Skills :
Proven track record as a BI Analyst or Business Analyst within a payroll, People Management, or finance-heavy environment
Strong SQL skills (T-SQL) with experience managing relational databases (DB owner level advantageous)
Hands-on experience with SSRS and DevExpress reporting tools
Proficiency in Power BI and an eye for dashboard design and usability
High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in environments where reporting errors carry financial risk
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Previous exposure to payroll software systems or HRMS environments
