A leading company, M&G, is seeking a Business Enablement Manager to lead a team focused on enhancing operational efficiencies and delivering change solutions. The role involves working closely with Front Office and Distribution departments, engaging with external vendors, and contributing to budget processes, making it vital for effective business operations. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and substantial experience in financial services, with strong leadership and analytical skills.
A vacancy has arisen for a Business Enablement Manager within the M&G Business Enablement Team.
The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for leading the team in partnering with the Front Office and Distribution departments, understanding their operational business problems, finding solutions, and facilitating the change delivery process.
This includes engaging with external service providers such as Transfer Agency administrators, Bloomberg, and Charles River, as well as the internal Change Delivery function.
The role requires a resourceful and analytical individual capable of working with multiple teams to find appropriate solutions for the M&G business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Business Enablement team.
Engage with department heads to determine their operating models and identify gaps requiring remediation.
Manage the prioritization and roadmap of relevant changes.
Participate in change forums such as Change Request Forum and Product Owner Forum, as well as project steering committees.
Contribute to the budgeting process for Change Delivery.
Conduct high-level business analysis to clearly articulate and document stakeholder needs.
Engage with vendors related to changes in service offerings to Front Office and Distribution departments.
Facilitate the implementation of changes into BAU operations, including new instruments, portfolio management data, client dashboards, and retail client statements.
Build relationships with London and / or offshore offices for solution implementation.
Hold a tertiary qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree or higher.
Have at least 3 years of experience managing operational or change delivery teams.
Possess at least 8 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in asset management or administration.
Understand CISCA and the local Unit Trust environment.
Have business analysis experience.
Be skilled in preparing management information presentations.
Be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Leadership and Team Management : Ability to motivate diverse teams and manage change initiatives.
Business Analysis and Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to identify stakeholder needs and propose solutions.
Change Management : Facilitate change processes and develop strategic roadmaps.
Stakeholder Engagement : Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Project Management : Skills in planning, executing, and monitoring change projects, including budget management.
Understand industry regulations like CISCA and operational processes related to Front Office and Distribution.
Technical Skills : Advanced MS Office skills and experience engaging with service providers like Bloomberg and Charles River.
Action and Time Management : Focused on results with strong organizational skills.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including creating management presentations.
