We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Director to join our dynamic team.
This role is instrumental in expanding our client base and fostering long-term business relationships across various sectors, including telecommunications, retail, automotive, and white goods.
Key Responsibilities : Lead Generation & Prospecting : Identify and qualify new business opportunities, reaching out to potential clients through networking, research, and attending industry events.
Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring the agency's services align with their needs.
Sales Strategy : Collaborate with senior management to develop tailored sales strategies, targeting key industries and regions, particularly within South Africa.
Proposal Development : Prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients, detailing the scope of work, timelines, and cost estimates, focusing on value-driven digital solutions.
Market Analysis : Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging markets within the digital space.
Performance Reporting : Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (marketing, design, and development) to ensure client needs are fully understood and met.
Brand Advocacy : Act as an ambassador for the agency, representing our core values and unique selling propositions at all times.
Qualifications : Experience : 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally within the digital, advertising, or marketing industry.
Knowledge : Familiarity with digital marketing services Marketing and Technology (SEO, PPC, social media management, web design, web development, e-commerce, etc.)
is a plus.
Skills : Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to close deals and build relationships.
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools.
Proactive & Goal-Oriented : Driven to meet and exceed targets with a passion for business growth.
