Job Title: Business Development Representative

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid ( Cape Town or Johannesburg Offices)

Industry Focus: Audit, Accounting & Professional Services

Employment Type: 12 Month Annual Renewable Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join one of our clients high-performing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities particularly within auditing and accounting firms. This is a proactive outbound role, ideal for someone who thrives in cold calling, networking, and opening doors with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research target firms in the audit and accounting space to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Conduct cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns to generate interest and schedule discovery meetings.
  • Qualify leads and set up meetings for senior sales or client relationship managers.
  • Understand client needs and challenges in order to clearly articulate our value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (recruitment, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth handoff and client onboarding.
  • Track and manage leads and activities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline status and outreach performance.
  • Attend virtual or in-person industry events and networking opportunities to expand reach.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation or business development ideally within professional services, audit and accounting or BPO/offshoring.
  • Must have proven international exposure, specifically within the UK, USA, or UAE markets.
  • Experience engaging C-level or senior stakeholders at audit/accounting firms is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven, self-motivated and comfortable working towards targets and KPIs.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
