We are looking for a Business Development Representative/ Sales Associate to join our dynamic Cape Town Sales Team! If you’re a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of TransPerfect’s services, including their benefits and competitive advantage
  • Identify and target prospective customers and organizations to drive sales activities
  • Establish new client relationships through methods such as cold calling, online research, and trade shows
  • Collaborate with Sales Management to identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities
  • Educate clients on TransPerfect’s services, promoting their value and relevance to client needs
  • Work closely with the Production Management Team to manage client expectations and provide exceptional customer support
  • Oversee pricing and contractual matters, ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Stay informed about clients’ industries, business goals, and company culture to uncover opportunities and deliver tailored solutions
  • Take on additional projects or duties as needed to support business objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • At least 1 - 3 years' of outbound sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Most importantly, the ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, work as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems, and commit to a high level of service
