Job description

Business Development Rep position available for the KZN region at a well-known IT company.

Seniority Level : Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)

Report to : Manager

Type : Permanent and remuneration negotiable, includes a Company vehicle, fuel, laptop, cell, and communication allowances.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent N3
  • Minimum 3-4 years sales experience in B2B cold calling
  • Proven track record in outbound sales, VC & telesales
  • Experience with software or high-tech business applications is advantageous
  • Selling software into engineering / manufacturing industries is advantageous
  • Hunter sales orientation with ability to build a portfolio of business
  • Prospecting to small & medium businesses via cold calling and networking opportunities
  • Expertise with solutions & value-based selling
  • Valid driver's license (Full company car)
  • Imparting product information / training to end-users at various levels is advantageous
  • Hardware and Software experience is advantageous
