A leading recruitment agency in Johannesburg is searching for a Business Development Manager to drive new business and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept in consultative selling. Responsibilities include building client relationships and documenting sales data in the CRM. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on results and stakeholder engagement.
The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for the delivery of new business.
Using your knowledge of effective sales methodologies, identify, qualify and close new customers in line with the sale strategy and revenue growth targets.
Build solid client relationships with key decision makers and influencers resulting in revenue protection and growth.
Employ consultative sales strategies and well planned customer visits to execute on monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Plan, document and record sales data on the CRM to to streamline pipeline management and optimize the pipeline to drive more sales.
Share knowledge and skills with team members to achieve common goals.
