We’re looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead sales expansion into African markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across regions and beyond.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of external B2B sales experience in industrial automation or a related technical field.
  • Proven ability to develop new business across African markets.
  • Strong understanding of industrial IT, automation, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience in sectors like power, mining, rail, security, solar, or similar.
  • Familiarity with export processes, tenders, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-savvy with solid MS Office skills and CRM familiarity.
  • Valid SA ID, driver’s license, passport, and own vehicle.
  • French or Portuguese language skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or technical certification in IT, Networking, or Engineering
  • SAP or other procurement system experience
  • Experience in international travel and cross-border business development
