Requirements
- 2-7 years of experience in Business Development
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in the fintech and payments industry (Advantageous)
- Demonstrated success in business development and sales roles within the software development industry, more specifically in the banking and financial services sector
- Deep understanding of payments
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients at all levels
- Open to regular travel for professional purposes
- Willingness to travel throughout Africa
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the banking and financial services utilities
- Develop and deliver on sales plans to achieve business goals and targets
- Work closely with the Commercial Director
- Conduct market research
- Analyse industry trends to identify potential clients
- Carry out the sales process from lead identification to deal closure
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports
- Work together with the support team to create and present proposals
- Represent our client at client engagements and industry conferences
