Job description

Responsibilities

1. Lead the development of business cases for Wind, PV and BESS projects
2. Develop power offtake concepts for Renewable Energy projects (PPAs, P2x, etc.)
3. Identify & build a pipeline of Renewable Energy offtakers
4. Develop energy savings models to demonstrate the business case
5. Responsible for PPA offers, negotiations & closure
6. Support of strategic pipeline planning according to market requirements
7. Development of marketing strategies to build relationships

Your Profile

1. Bachelor´s or master's degree in business administration, Engineering or a related field
2. Extensive experience in business development in the renewable energy sector
3. Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry, including wind and solar energy in South Africa
4. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors and partners
5. Pro-active & open personality with a passion for Renewable Energy
6. Willingness to travel extensively
7. Business fluent in English
