Specific Role Responsibilities
- Analyze the commercial performance of the service and parts departments relative to set KPIs and develop improvement plans with the dealer where necessary.
- Assess customer satisfaction index (CSI) performance and assist in designing and managing action plans to meet CSI objectives.
- Conduct research and gather data to support operational reporting and decision-making processes.
- Identify new opportunities and technologies that could improve operational processes.
- Define standard operating procedures (SOPs) tailored to the dealer's circumstances and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with current recall campaigns and employ the correct operational tools and processes as defined by the manufacturer.
- Monitor dealer adherence to Aftersales standards related to service, parts, and customer care.
- Provide specialist advice for planning value-added process improvements, initiatives, and services.
- Recommend solutions to enhance process and service quality.
- Follow organizational policies to ensure cost-effectiveness and reduce wastage of materials or equipment.
- Drive service and parts sales profitability and turnover at the dealer level.
- Review and analyze the dealer's financial accounts monthly to support operational decisions.
- Adjust financial drivers based on analysis results.
- Manage the importer’s Goodwill and mobility expenditure within budget.
- Collaborate with service and parts managers to understand customer needs and improve customer interaction and satisfaction.
- Deliver products and services that foster a culture of exceeding customer expectations.
- Build sustainable relationships with dealer management to promote a culture of customer service excellence.
- Identify dealer needs and offer related parts, products, and accessories to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Manage the resolution of customer concerns effectively.
- Identify skills gaps within the dealer staff and recommend relevant training.
- Ensure dealer staff embody and uphold company values.
- Contribute to a culture focused on productivity, service delivery, and quality management.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 - 7 years of experience in a similar environment.
- Minimum Qualification: Matric.
- Business Administration tertiary qualification.
- Technical acumen or qualification.
- Automotive aftersales experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in sales, retail, or business development roles.
