Job description

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual to effectively drive sales into the Sasfin Securities and Sasfin Asset Managers businesses, as well as other wealth offerings through Retail channels. The role involves developing and retaining strong relationships with external financial planning practices and Retail investors. The goal is to drive strategic growth and market penetration for Sasfin Securities, Sasfin Asset Managers, and other wealth offerings by identifying new business opportunities and leveraging existing relationships. The individual will lead client acquisition and retention strategies across retail and institutional channels, ensuring alignment with the overall Wealth growth objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
  1. Promote and distribute securities and asset management solutions along with other Sasfin wealth offerings.
  2. Develop strong relationships with corporate clients and external financial advisers.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
  4. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share regionally.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to create tailored solutions that meet client needs and enhance brand awareness.
  6. Conduct client presentations, workshops, and events to promote wealth solutions and deepen client engagement.
  7. Provide strategic input into product development to ensure competitive and client-centric offerings.
  8. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance client experience and drive sales.
  9. Assist and drive marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  10. Cross-sell Sasfin products and solutions.
  11. Assist the head of division with strategic planning initiatives.
  12. Achieve monthly sales targets.
  13. Maintain a CRM system.
  14. Provide management reports to the head of division.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
  1. A Bachelor of Commerce degree or equivalent.
  2. A CFA or CFP qualification is advantageous.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience within the financial planning environment, with a proven track record in business development, sales, or relationship management within the financial services or wealth management industry.
  4. Deep understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements in the wealth management and securities sectors.
  5. Extremely client/service-oriented with high levels of business etiquette and communication skills.
REMUNERATION

Market-related Cost to Company based on qualification and experience.
