This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales of Critical Power products / systems / services in the Neocloud Data Center Market. Each day, you will showcase your expertise by identifying and developing relationships and new sales opportunities in the Neocloud space. You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. The ideal work model for the role is remote out of Atlanta, GA, but open to qualified candidates to work remotely. The travel for this role is expected to be around 50% of the time.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Leading efforts to develop and execute strategy to close profitable orders for the following products: Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS – LV & MV) and associated accessories, Static Transfer Switches (STS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Paralleling Switchgear (PSG). This includes annual detailed account strategies for end users in pursuit of top line growth across the country.
  2. Collaborating with multiple ABB sales teams and channel partners to drive sales directly with end-users and through electrical contractors, distribution, and OEM accounts.
  3. Leading Master Sales Agreement and complex contract negotiation.
  4. Developing strategic end user customer relationships with key decision makers.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline and/or advanced business degree. Others considered based on applicable industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales with successful track record and tangible results working with end users, third party channel partners, relevant consultants and contractors, distributors in the data center, critical power, power quality or related industries.
  • Thorough understanding of customer base and channels to market.
  • Strong knowledge of the Data Center electrical infrastructure industry.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office essentials & Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to travel an estimated 50% of the time.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
