ENVIRONMENT:

A provider of cutting-edge Financial Software Solutions in Johannesburg seeks a passionate Business Development Manager who is a qualified CA(SA) who is financially savvy & wants to grow into a deal-making position. You will also require a proven track record of engaging with C-Suite executives and key decision-makers. As a Sales Manager / Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development and expanding the company’s international footprint. They are seeking a motivated individual looking to master top-tier B2B Sales skills and contribute significantly to a team.

DUTIES:

  • Targeted Outreach and Client Research: Proactively research target clients and opportunities globally, identifying and engaging with potential clients in both local and international markets.
  • Lead Generation and Relationship Building: Generate leads and establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders through internal and external networking, including attending approved conferences.
  • Daily Work Schedule Planning: Plan and organise a daily work schedule to reach out to both existing and potential leads, with a focus on engaging decision-makers.
  • Outbound Sales Management: Lead Outbound Sales and Business Development campaigns, including managing outreach to new target clients for meetings.
  • Client Engagement: Engage directly with C-suite executives and key decision-makers, performing product demos and supporting senior management in negotiating price proposals and RFPs.
  • Deal Closing: Closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition from lead generation through to negotiation and agreement finalisation.
  • Migration of new clients: Once the agreement is finalised, support and a complete support will be required to bring on the existing lease portfolio of the client, setting up their disclosures, reports and journal and user training.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture partnerships to foster new business opportunities and expand the business’s reach.
  • Product Knowledge: Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the platform, features, and technical specifications to effectively engage with potential clients and demonstrate value.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Attend weekly Business Development/Sales team meetings and provide insights to management regarding sales figures, goals, and any obstacles encountered.
  • Feedback for Platform Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to the Client Management and IT teams to help improve the platform and increase market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain current client and new client relationships, acting as their dedicated Account Manager ensure that they can rely on your Lease Accounting expertise, including limited exposure to guide client during their audit period.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST-HAVEs –

  • Qualified CA.

Experience/Skills -

  • Highly motivated individuals with strong financial acumen.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven track record of engaging with C-Suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • Proactive Sales and Business Development approach with a strong desire to grow and learn in a tech-driven environment.
  • Excellent prioritisation, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver customised presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Openness to constructive feedback.

Advantageous –

  • Experience in selling a SAAS platform.
  • Highly motivated and the target is driven with a proven track record in sales.
