Work as a Business Development Manager (BDM) fully remote if you're based in Johannesburg.

A leading global company specializing in video conferencing and headset products within the Unified Communication space is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) for South Africa.

  • Experience:
    5-10 years in business development or sales, with a focus on IT, computing, audio, or video device sales, particularly in the Unified Communication space.
  • Language Skills:
    Fluency in English is essential for communication with both local and international teams.
  • Market Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of the Unified Communication industry, including video conferencing solutions and audio devices like headsets and PRO AV.
  • Sales Acumen:
    • Established relationships with large enterprises and EPG customers.
    • Proven track record in generating new sales leads, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to network effectively and engage key stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills:
    Strong ability to analyze market data, identify business growth opportunities, and develop actionable strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • This role primarily focuses on the video conferencing business line, with partial responsibility for the headsets business line. A key requirement is that the candidate brings a strong network of end-user clients, ideally from competitors such as Logitech or Poly.
