Position: Business Development Manager – Marine Services (Cape Town)

Sector: Maritime / Offshore / Ship Repair / Vessel Support

Overview:

We’re seeking a commercially driven professional with strong marine industry knowledge to lead client acquisition, relationship management, and contract negotiation efforts. You’ll work across vessel services, marine logistics, and technical solutions in the Cape Town and International port ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage key marine sector accounts (ship owners, ports, EPCs).
  • Generate new business through market mapping, prospecting, and networking.
  • Lead tender submissions, proposals, and pricing strategies.
  • Liaise with technical teams to align client needs with marine solutions.
  • Maintain CRM pipeline and forecast revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in marine industry (preferably technical or vessel-related).
  • Strong track record in B2B sales or commercial account management.
  • Familiarity with Cape Town’s port and shipping sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:
