Job Title: Sales Executive/Business Development Manager

Location: Paarl, Western Cape

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive/Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and provide excellent customer support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and the fitness industry, with a strong ability to build relationships and manage the sales process end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide accurate product information.
• Drive sales growth through proactive lead generation and client engagement.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Provide sales support, including quotations, product information, and follow-ups.
• Assist with sales administration, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and send quotations, invoices, and follow-ups to ensure timely payments.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand business reach.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in a commercial or fitness-related industry.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fitness, health or sport industry.
• Tertiary qualification in a sports-related field (e.g., BSc in Sport Science / Human Movement Sciences)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies effectively.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
• Knowledge of or passion for the fitness or sports industry would be highly advantageous.
