JOB TITLE : Business Development Manager : AI and Services

INDUSTRY : Information Technology and AI Services

Salary / CTC : R 75 000 (Depending on current earnings, experience and qualifications)

Report to : General Manager – AI and Services

Job Summary :

Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will focus on driving the growth of their AI and services portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the AI and services space, including market research, lead generation, and outreach to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and clients to enhance our service offerings and expand market reach.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth in the AI sector.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive sustainable growth for our AI and services portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals and product offerings.
  • Monitor and report on business development performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE :

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the AI, technology, or consulting sectors.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION :

  • Matric with mathematics is essential
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and applications in various industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and establishing long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
