This is a pure 'hunter' role requiring consistent lead generation and new business development through multi-channel outreach, including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging.

The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Johannesburg team. This role is vital for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company's ICT solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with sales and technical teams to deliver tailored IT solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pursue new business opportunities across various industries such as retail, education, and property management.
  2. Generate, build, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  3. Create and present proposals for connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed IT solutions.
  4. Collaborate with technical teams to design client-specific IT solutions.
  5. Meet sales targets to drive revenue growth.
  6. Represent the company at events and client meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in new business development or sales within IT/ICT.
  • Proven success in meeting sales targets.
  • Knowledge of connectivity, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Understanding of the South African IT market.
