Job description

Qualifications: Matric, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the security industry, proven track record of sales success and leadership experience, proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA), compliance with the Private Security Industry Act, the Protection of Personal Information Act, and the Labour Relations Act.

Duties:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to grow revenue in the South African fire detection and gas suppression industry. Conduct market research, set goals and KPIs.
  2. Sales Performance: Achieve sales targets, conduct sales calls, and ensure high client satisfaction.
  3. Business Development: Pursue new opportunities, build relationships, and deliver persuasive proposals.
  4. Technical Expertise: Maintain knowledge of fire detection and gas suppression systems, stay updated on industry trends, and support clients and stakeholders technically.
  5. Innovation and Growth: Innovate sales strategies, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  6. Compliance and Administration: Follow company policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records.
  7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on business development metrics, analyze data, and provide strategic insights.
