Business Development Manager

We're accepting applications for the position of Business Development Manager.

The Business Development Manager represents the company's client-facing brand and will be responsible for creating and driving effective sales management strategies to generate revenue. Key responsibilities include proactively identifying opportunities for business growth through new and renewed sales agreements, building and maintaining customer relations and brand loyalty, improving customer satisfaction, and promoting products and solutions to enhance revenue and competitive advantage.

The Business Development Manager will also contribute to creating engaging content for social media, advertisements, emails, and other digital or printed media.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our customer base in procurement and supply chain sectors, focusing on transactional and annuity revenue streams.
  2. Establish and drive sales strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
  3. Apply innovative sales and marketing techniques to support business objectives.
  4. Leverage forensic investigation knowledge to identify business opportunities.
  5. Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, focusing on upselling and customer satisfaction.
  6. Identify and pursue internal and external leads and business opportunities.
  7. Foster relationships with strategic clients, both new and existing.
  8. Target new customers through strategic market segmentation, understanding their needs and challenges.
  9. Present existing and new products to clients to grow the business.
  10. Manage and nurture the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities.
  11. Stay current with market trends, competitor analysis, and demands to maintain market leadership.
  12. Develop, coach, and manage relevant team resources.
  13. Engage regularly with the client base to understand user demand and customer experience.
  14. Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders for effective product delivery.
  15. Create and manage engaging digital and print media content to support sales efforts.
  16. Drive revenue growth through strategies for new business acquisition and upselling.
  17. Measure and report on sales and marketing outcomes to improve ROI.
  18. Provide regular reports to senior management on pipeline, sales results, and strategic initiatives.
  19. Prepare and analyze budgets, control expenditures, and ensure sales quotas are met.
  20. Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and forensic teams to align strategies with company capabilities.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree or National Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or Management.
  • Driver's license and own reliable transport.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, focusing on procurement and supply chain sectors.
  • Marketing experience preferred.
  • Proven expertise in forensic investigations and their application in business development.
  • Strong record in managing transactional and annuity customer relationships.
  • Experience in upselling and strategic customer acquisition.
  • Advanced knowledge of business development, sales, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.
  • Experience with lead qualification at all organizational levels.
