International Solar Energy / Energy Efficiency company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.
The Senior Business Developer will play a pivotal role in leading sales efforts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring continued success in the energy efficiency and photovoltaic sectors.
Responsibilities:- Drive business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities in the targeted sectors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Leverage knowledge of thermodynamics, photovoltaic systems, and battery technology to provide tailored solutions to clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential growth areas.
- Develop and deliver commercial proposals (both binding and non-binding) that create value for clients.
- Oversee and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and long- term partnerships.
- Collaborate effectively within the company's network to leverage resources and achieve goals.
- Identify and cultivate organic leads while efficiently managing resellers and key partners to maximize opportunities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse KPIs, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Oversee tender processes, provide necessary support, and submit bids for active opportunities.
Essential Requirements:- 5-8 years of experience in thermodynamics, photovoltaic systems, and/or energy efficiency.
- Marketing/Sales Degree or related qualification.
- Mechanical/Electrical/Structural Engineering Degree.
- Understanding of project management principles.
- Proficiency in sales platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools (preferred).
