International Solar Energy / Energy Efficiency company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.


The Senior Business Developer will play a pivotal role in leading sales efforts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring continued success in the energy efficiency and photovoltaic sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities in the targeted sectors.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Leverage knowledge of thermodynamics, photovoltaic systems, and battery technology to provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential growth areas.
  • Develop and deliver commercial proposals (both binding and non-binding) that create value for clients.
  • Oversee and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and long- term partnerships.
  • Collaborate effectively within the company's network to leverage resources and achieve goals.
  • Identify and cultivate organic leads while efficiently managing resellers and key partners to maximize opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse KPIs, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Oversee tender processes, provide necessary support, and submit bids for active opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in thermodynamics, photovoltaic systems, and/or energy efficiency.
  • Marketing/Sales Degree or related qualification.
  • Mechanical/Electrical/Structural Engineering Degree.
  • Understanding of project management principles.
  • Proficiency in sales platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools (preferred).
