You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with strategic distribution partners.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on transforming lives through strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and new strategic distribution partners.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Report leads, deals, sales and revenue, invoices.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing partners.

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Engineering / Marketing / Sales.
  • MBA qualification is desirable.
  • 5-10 years experience in Consulting or Business Development.
  • 3 -5 years experience working in Africa.
  • Proficient in both English and French.
  • Comfortable speaking to executives of large multinationals.
  • Able to coherently describe advantages of partnering with d.light.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen/ business decision making.
  • Ability to work autonomously with little oversight.
  • Strong demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid experience planning, organizing, analyzing and problem solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Business driven, people focused, with exceptional influencing skills.
