Critical outputs of the role include identifying leads, supporting campaigns, and building relationships within assigned regions.

This role will be based in Cape Town.

Are you someone who can :

  • Provide first-line support on escalations outside of turnaround time.
  • Manage all segment leadership requests.
  • Report on challenges within regions and manage expectations.
  • Manage the full process related to engagement, from submission of quote to completion.
  • Proactively support lead usage and seek opportunities through adviser tools.
  • Drive campaign management in the region on all newly launched campaigns, including launching, tracking, and maintaining momentum.
  • Track and contribute to achieving the monthly budget, report on progress, and develop strategies to close gaps.
  • Analyze and develop implementation plans against forecasted financial budgets.
  • Develop tactical budgets for areas of responsibility that minimize expenditure and manage costs.
  • Build relationships to manage expectations, share knowledge and insights, and create buy-in.
  • Contribute to maintaining a competitive edge by upskilling and coaching frontline advisors on effective upselling techniques.
  • Implement practices that build service delivery excellence and efficiency models.
  • Model and coach behaviors that foster rewarding relationships, encourage innovation, and enable exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and provide advice to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to corporate governance, compliance, integrity, and ethics policies to identify and manage risk exposure.
  • Participate in relevant management forums and cascade information within the team.
  • Identify opportunities across the business by grouping similar projects to improve efficiencies and reduce duplication.

You will be an ideal candidate if you :

  • Have a Degree or NQF Level qualification.
  • Have Investment and Long Term Insurance experience.
  • Have 2-3 years in a BDM sales role.
  • CFP qualification would be preferable.
  • Experience working on platforms like LISP (Linked Investment Service Provider).
