Job Title: Business Development Manager

Key Tasks & Accountabilities
- Produce a Business Plan that reflects market opportunities for the area of responsibility.
- Develop a Sales plan to identify, develop, and manage prospects.
- Underwrite and accept risks within delegated authority to achieve effective business implementation.
- Grow and retain Bryte's Sales target to meet GWP and profitability goals.
- Monitor productivity levels.
- Deliver exceptional client satisfaction by working with brokers to understand and meet their business needs.
- Analyze brokers' business plans and develop future business opportunities.
- Develop the Broker panel to achieve Business Development Growth targets through influence and persuasion.
- Ensure compliance with technical and operational underwriting standards, procedures, and controls.
- Implement underwriting measures to attain targeted loss ratios and rates.
- Adhere to the Regional Teams' Sales plan.
- Execute analysis, governance, and risk management in line with Bryte's standards and guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate calibre.
- Over 5 years of experience in the short-term insurance industry and a strong presence in the broker community.
- FAIS compliant.
- Experience in Sales, Retail, or Business Development roles.
