Minimum requirements for the role :
- Experience in the rigid plastic packaging industry or a related market is preferred.
- Experience selling large plastic waste bins and similar products is advantageous.
- Essential: Proven sales experience.
- Essential: Experience selling products to municipalities.
- Essential: Experience dealing with municipal tenders.
- Must be team-oriented with good skills in Excel and Word.
Key responsibilities :
- Manage key accounts selling rigid plastic packaging products to municipalities nationwide.
- Lead tender processes for municipal business from start to finish.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies for assigned territories.
- Achieve sales budgets, forecasts, and annual targets.
- Oversee sales forecasting and operational planning.
- Increase market share according to company strategy.
- Manage contracts and agreements with customers and distributors.
- Coordinate with quality and operations to ensure customer complaints are addressed.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
- Identify and initiate new business projects.
- Implement new products to maximize profitability.
- Negotiate pricing with customers.
