A leading company in Pretoria seeks a seasoned Business Development professional to enhance revenue growth and market presence. This role demands strong relationship management, strategic planning abilities, and substantial experience in project management and sales methodologies. Candidates must hold an MCom degree and have a proven track record in a similar role, focusing on delivering premium client experiences.
The main purpose of this position will be to drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and developing and implementing strategic plans.
This role involves a mix of sales, marketing, and relationship management, with a focus on expanding the company's market presence and increasing profitability.
Initially focused on growth market opportunities.
Minimum requirements :
MCom Degree in Research, Psychology, Economics or equivalent
At least 10 years experience in a similar role (e.g., Business Development, Researcher, KAM, Sales, Management Consulting)
2-3 years managing large scale projects preferably in research
Knowledge of Research Principles
Knowledge of sales methodologies and principles
To take accountability for the Premium Client Experience through the effective and efficient hand over of project briefs and final delivery of client outputs together with the delivery team.
Which includes : To effectively coordinate the internal and external briefing of clients, to ensure that the needs are well understood by the business for them to deliver a premium experience.
To take full accountability for achieving the clients objectives by reviewing and co-presenting the final research reports and outputs (i.e., Researcher and / or Statistician) to the client in a professional manner within the agreed deadline.

review recommendations and define next steps and cross selling opportunities
