Our client, one of the largest world-renowned companies offering a multi-modal solution encompassing air, ocean and road freight transport, is looking for a Strategic Business Development Executive to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will need progressive sales experience and an understanding of the specific sector that this role will focus on and will need to be able to demonstrate a record of sales targets and achievements.
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
Scheduling of new business appointments
Cold calling
Achieve individual target
Generate new leads and acquire new customers
Selling of the full supply chain products
Establish customer needs, developing opportunities and expand customer base
Update weekly report and REACH daily
Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients
Requirements:
Matric
Bachelor’s Degree or similar qualification
3 years corporate Sales Record
Have worked in reputable corporates
Proven track record of having made target
Industry experience and understanding of supply chain (Freight, international & warehousing products)
Experience in presentation and negotiation of business solutions at senior management level
Valid Code 8 driver licence and own reliable transport
Excellent communication skills
