The role

We are looking for a seasoned business development executive with experience selling either logistics or SaaS (Software as a Service). This is a unique opportunity to sell two distinct products, a very competitive innovative logistics offering, and a cutting-edge shipping platform (monthly subscription SaaS offering).

Our tech is cutting-edge, and our pitch is genuinely innovative. We're about to make waves in the logistics space, and we're looking for exceptional sales talent that can help deliver our message.

There is limited cold calling, we assign you a dedicated team of SDR’s to generate you warm leads. Our initial target market is SMEs, then expanding into the Enterprise market.

This is a remote first, phone based role.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to warm leads and perform product demos in order to acquire new customers.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
  • Commitment to domain and subject mastery.
  • Hit and exceed new business sales targets.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to develop strategies for achieving sales goals and improving overall sales performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors' offerings to effectively position our products / services in the market.
  • Manage and update Salesforce to accurately record sales pipeline.

Skills and Competencies

  • Atleast 5 years B2B sales experience.
  • A proven track record of meeting and beating targets.
  • Great people skills, able to develop relationships and build rapport.
  • The ability to persuade, influence and close.
  • Highly motivated, with the drive to be successful.
  • Great computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Salesforce, and other tech platforms / tools.
  • Experience demonstrating technology products / solutions.
  • Industry experience is highly desirable not but essential.

The detail

  • Reports To : Head of Sales
  • 8 : 30am to 5pm Mon-Fri (GMT).
  • 15 days holiday per year + your birthday off.
  • You need a min 20 MB broadband line, and your own PC / Laptop and headset.
