SUMMARY :

Drive filtration sales across Africa! A technical sales expert is wanted to expand mining and refining markets.

POSITION INFO :

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to lead the growth of process filtration solutions within mining and refining industries across Africa. You will manage key accounts, develop new business, and expand export markets by providing expert technical and sales support. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive sales of high-value filtration and flour milling products while supporting local partners and distributors across diverse African regions.

Non-Negotiable Requirements :

  • Proven sales experience within mining, milling, or process engineering industries
  • Ability to travel and work across multiple African countries
  • Strong technical knowledge of filtration products and process engineering solutions
  • Proficiency in sales administration tools, including Pastel Accounting and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity
  • Ability to prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and sales reports with accuracy

Job Experience & Skills Required :

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment
  • Experience identifying and engaging with key clients in industrial and commercial sectors
  • Skilled in developing go-to-market strategies and managing export sales processes
  • Competent in lead generation, negotiation, contract management, and closing deals
  • Ability to train, appoint, and support local agents, distributors, and technical partners
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, sales pipelines, and documentation
  • Familiarity with export regulations and logistics coordination across African markets
  • Proactive problem solver with excellent follow-up and customer support abilities
