An established industry player is seeking a Business Development Director for Africa to drive sales growth in the Life Science sector. This full-time role involves leading a sales team, developing new customer relationships, and implementing strategic sales plans. Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director, the Business Development Director, Africa (Country Sales Manager), will contribute to achieving Biocair's sales revenue and gross profit targets by building new revenue streams, developing new customers, and expanding our existing customer base through selling our services to the Life Science industry.
The role has overall responsibility for managing the Sales team, utilizing their expertise effectively, and developing the customer portfolio while providing daily management and leadership.
The successful candidate will operate in line with our company values, aiming to be the provider of choice for scientific logistics solutions, emphasizing care, expertise, and precision to support research and development.

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30), based onsite and field-based from any of our South African offices in Johannesburg, Durban, or Cape Town.
