BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (SANDTON) - LEGAL INDUSTRY

Our client, a large international law firm, is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join their Marketing and Business Development team based in Sandton. Our client will also consider attorneys or legal secretaries that would like to crossover to Business Development.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  1. Source and assess tenders
  2. Prepare and manage SBD forms, RFQs, pitches, and tenders from start to finish
  3. Update and maintain all pitch collateral
  4. Update lawyer bios and proposal collateral with annual rankings and awards
  5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all supporting material remains up to date
  6. General administration duties such as database updates and completing status reports
  7. Research on an as-needed basis
  8. Client relationship management system support
  9. Provide ongoing support for InterAction, the firm's CRM system, including:
    1. Data steward tasks, system testing, and troubleshooting
    2. End-user training
    3. Searches and reporting

Skills and qualifications:

  1. Marketing, Communications, or Business Diploma or Degree
  2. Minimum 1-2 years experience preferably in a business development / CRM capacity in a corporate / professional services environment
  3. Experience in a law firm advantageous
  4. Good command of the English language
  5. Strong organizational and administrative skills
  6. Strong team ethic
  7. Delivery oriented
  8. Ability to prioritize and deadline driven
  9. Ability to work under pressure
  10. Proactive
  11. Ability to operate professionally across all levels of the organization
