MAIN PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for increasing sales and market share by identifying opportunities, researching industries and clients, and ensuring continuous sales growth within the assigned area(s).
KPA/KPI (Measurable)
- Meet monthly revenue targets set by the Head of Sales or Regional Director
- Achieve commission targets and 1x CTC in GP from new sales per month
- Make 50 new sales calls per week and attend 5 new appointments
- Make 10 follow-up/courtesy calls per week
- Submit 4 quotes per week
- Open 5 new accounts per month
- Draft and deliver proposals, prepare costings, and create client propositions with the General Manager or Sales Director
- Assess client needs and present suitable company solutions
- Deliver quotations within 12 to 24 hours of request
- Update the sales/CRM system daily before midnight
- Provide timely, professional, and courteous customer service
- Maintain organizational values in all interactions
- Follow up on and resolve client queries within 24 hours
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Ensure all sales are conducted ethically and in compliance with the company's Code of Business Conduct and Stakeholder Engagement Policies
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Head of Sales in the correct format and on time
- Maintain transparency and honesty in all information provided
- Complete credit applications, movement slips, and order confirmations accurately, get client signatures, and upload into the vetting system
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and ISO standards
- Inform clients about procedures to ensure timely payment of workers and invoices, including discussing TOB and SLA
- Ensure all quotations, OC, TOB, and SLAs are signed, processed, and filed properly
- Liaise with the Debtors Department regarding outstanding payments and follow up with clients
- Assist with escalated accounts as directed by the BM/GM/Regional Director
- Attend weekly sales meetings and relevant training sessions
- Ensure proper operational handover to meet client needs
- Complete movement documents for every account opened
