We are actively recruiting 3 results-driven Branch Managers with deep industry knowledge and a passion for business development in Polokwane, eMalahleni, and Welkom.

About the Role

This is not an administrative branch manager role. It’s a frontline growth role for someone who thrives on signing clients, negotiating contracts, and expanding market share in the healthcare staffing industry.

As Branch Manager, you will lead sales and business development activities in your region, grow our client base, and ensure exceptional service delivery. You will also run branch-level operations and manage the locum workforce with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Acquire 1 new major hospital group or 2 mid-tier facilities every 6 months.
  • Deliver 10%+ annual revenue growth in your region.
  • Lead and track 2+ high-quality BD meetings or pitches per month.
  • Cross-sell additional services and expand client wallet share each quarter.
  • Identify upcoming tender opportunities and lead bid responses.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with hospital executives, HR teams, unit managers, and procurement.
  • Proactively manage SLAs and ensure high client satisfaction scores.
  • Troubleshoot escalations and deliver solutions in real time.

Team & Operational Oversight

  • Manage branch operations, shift registers, locum onboarding, and timesheets.
  • Lead and coach your local team with energy, accountability, and results-orientation.
  • Ensure all staff comply with professional appearance, ethics, and punctuality standards.

Strategic Thinking & Innovation

  • Introduce at least 1 value-adding initiative or improvement project annually.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to refine regional growth plans.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a nursing agency or healthcare staffing environment, ideally in business development or sales.
  • Proven track record of acquiring hospital or clinic clients in the public and/or private sector.
  • National Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of industry pricing models, tendering, compliance, and placement protocols.
  • Confident presenter, negotiator, and deal-closer.
  • Strong Excel, CRM, and MS Office proficiency.
  • Code 8 driver’s license.
