Business Development and Sales Manager (North SADC, East Africa, West Africa, and North Africa)

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development & Sales Manager focusing on North SADC, East Africa, West Africa, and North Africa.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about building relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering value-added solutions in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, Chemical, and healthcare sectors.

This role involves being at the forefront of our growth strategy—identifying new markets, nurturing partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions to our clients to promote local manufacturing in Africa.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, chemical, and cleanroom markets for infrastructure and process solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and technical proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to understand service capabilities and align offerings with market demand.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market intelligence to refine sales strategies.
  • Lead the bid and tendering process, including pricing strategy and contract negotiation.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reports on pipeline, leads, and conversions.
Key Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical facility and process requirements (HVAC, cleanrooms, manufacturing, and packaging processes).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis capabilities.
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales or project-based selling.
  • High level of initiative, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
