Business Development and Sales Executive

The Business Development and Sales Executive will be responsible for establishing a platform for sales activities related to certification, inspection, and bespoke service delivery to operations and business development teams.

Main Accountabilities
  1. Obtain new clients and convert them into increased business for Verification of Conformity.
  2. Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  3. Maintain and expand networks with new and existing clients.
  4. Research and build relationships with potential clients.
  5. Arrange meetings between client decision-makers and company's practice leaders / Principals.
  6. Plan sales approaches and pitches.
  7. Collaborate with the team to develop proposals aligned with client needs, concerns, and objectives.
  8. Work with technical staff and colleagues to meet customer needs.
  9. Design and execute sales campaigns.
  10. Conduct sales forecasts and analysis, presenting findings to senior management.
  11. Attend industry events, associations, and conferences to gather market insights and trends.
  12. Consult with mid and senior-level management on business trends to develop new services, products, and channels.
  13. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels to increase sales.
  14. Leverage market and competitor knowledge to develop unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Qualifications, Experience, and Technical Skills
  • An applicable post-secondary qualification is advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of Verification of Conformity programmes.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to analyze data and sales statistics to achieve positive results.
  • Comply with all non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
