Job summary

Carrick Athena in Cape Town is seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist to engage prospective clients and build relationships within the financial services sector. You will book qualified appointments for Private Wealth Managers, maintain client records, and support diary management while aiming to exceed targets.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in sales or client-facing roles, strong communication, and a professional, result-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ work experience (sales or client-facing roles preferred).
• Previous experience in financial services (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact and engage with prospective clients
• Identify opportunities and assess client suitability for our services

• Maintain accurate client records in line with compliance standards
