Our client, a well-established international Defense Industry company, is seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to expand their global footprint and market share.

The role's primary goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales, developing products and solutions, and forging strong client relationships.

You will be at the forefront of the company, responsible for creating and implementing an effective sales strategy.

To succeed, you should have a strong drive to pursue and close new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with at least 85% pass rate (non-negotiable) – please include certificate with CV
  • BEng or BSc Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Aeronautical, Industrial) – please submit with application
  • Some sales experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Own transport
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • No prior work experience required

Duties:

  • Promote the company's products/services, anticipating client objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts complying with legal guidelines
  • Set goals for the development team and business growth, ensuring achievement
  • Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices, and travel itineraries
  • Provide reliable feedback and after-sales support
  • Develop growth strategies focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Research new markets and customer needs
  • Contact potential clients to establish networks and arrange meetings (domestic and international)
  • Identify new markets and enhance sales
  • Plan and oversee marketing initiatives
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
