This position focuses on expanding the business insurance portfolio by building a short-term insurance book through prospecting and selling both personal and commercial lines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue potential business clients through various channels
- Make cold calls, network at events, and gain referrals from your network
- Research online to find new lead avenues
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet sales objectives
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- At least 1 year of B2B sales experience
- Experience in lead generation, client engagement, and presentations
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
Note: If you have previous experience as a FAIS representative, the following are mandatory:
- FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA)
- RE5 (depending on DOFA)
