Job Description

A leader within the Financial Services Sector is looking to expand their team by hiring an experienced Business Developer based in Stellenbosch and Willowbridge. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with the option to work from home once settled.

This role focuses on growing the business insurance portfolio by prospecting and selling both personal and commercial lines of insurance.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation
  2. Identify and pursue potential business clients via various channels
  3. Make cold calls, network at events, gain referrals from your network
  4. Research online to find new lead avenues
  5. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet sales targets
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Matric or National Senior Certificate
  2. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  3. At least 1 year of B2B sales experience
  4. Experience in lead generation, client engagement, and presentations
  5. Proven sales record and pipeline development
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and independent
  8. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills

Note: If you have previous experience as a FAIS representative, the following are mandatory:

  1. FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA)
  2. RE5 (depending on DOFA)
