Job description

Our client is looking for a Business Developer with demonstrable aluminium window and door hardware industry experience.

Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Understand the customer's business and needs
  • Grow basket and spend of assigned customers
  • Manage GP% of assigned customers
  • Grow network and manage distributors
  • Bring on and develop new customers per agreed targets
Stock
  • Reduce excess / SMS / Redundant stock per agreed targets
  • Propose clear and practical recommendations on product development
  • Maintain excellent technical understanding of the company's product portfolio and their uses in customer businesses
Market Intel
  • Provide clear, intelligible, and relevant feedback on the market, including conclusions and tactics to maximize market share, sustainability, and profitability
  • Develop a clear plan for fabricator vs distributor network
  • Capture all customer visit interactions on CRM daily
People
  • Understand customer needs and build open, communicative relationships
  • Actively uphold the client's core values daily
  • Provide clear and consistent feedback to line management
Requirements
  • Demonstrable aluminium window and door hardware industry experience
  • Strong customer service orientation internally and externally, which will be assessed during the interview
  • Own reliable vehicle; this is a mobile position
  • Resident and based in Johannesburg
  • Immediate start

  • Basic salary R30,000 - R40,000
