Job Opportunity : Business Developer

There is an exciting opportunity available to join a leading voice and advocate for the aggregates industry as a Business Developer.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Actively develop new client relationships, follow up on client development leads, and utilise superior negotiating skills.
  2. Develop solid, lasting, and trusting relationships with clients.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are gathered adequately.
  4. Be knowledgeable about industry products at a high level provided to the specific client.
  5. Develop a thorough understanding of clients' needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
  6. Compile reports on monthly sales progress and sales forecasts.
  7. Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute actively towards the profitability of the company.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  1. A completed relevant degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in Business Development (Hunting role) in the Aggregate or related Commodity Sales Industry.
  3. Experience in driving results and achieving sales targets.
  4. Understanding of Business Analysis and Delivery Requirements.
  5. Strong Sales and Negotiation skills.
  6. Fluent (written and verbal) in both English and Afrikaans.
  7. Own reliable transport and a valid driver's license.
  8. Stable and successful sales track record.
