Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Assist the W&C Business Developer (BD) with analysis of the hardgoods market share by player, region, product, and market segment. Identify and target Key Accounts aligned with the business line revenue and gross margin targets.

Support the W&C BD in short to medium-term planning of market needs versus AL’s portfolio (Product Mix).

Promote the various Air Liquide Welding & Cutting market propositions and offers.

Assist the Welding & Cutting Business Developer in developing and rolling out a value-added Hard Goods offer to the market.

Support the sales team with technical demonstrations and offer preparation.

Advise on market pricing trends and required pricing strategies to position Air Liquide products effectively (Price Mix).

Introduce and manage the process of offering Air Liquide Hard Goods to targeted accounts not yet customers.

Identify and communicate market trends and needs to help develop new offers.

Support existing customers with technical troubleshooting and solutions.

Maintain contact with technical institutions and research centers to increase market awareness.

Plan and conduct product trials and demonstrations to prove technical feasibility and economic viability of new products/services.

Evaluate the technical and economic viability of new products/services in the welding and cutting markets.

Maintain contact with major industry players to identify and exploit new opportunities.

Identify and monitor major infrastructure projects in progress.

Collaborate with Stores/Procurement to develop, forecast, manage, and replenish hardgoods inventory at various locations.
