RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced BUSINESS APPLICATIONS & PROCESS SUPPORT MANAGER for a well-established concern based along the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Requirements

1. Grade 12.
2. Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
3. Project Management qualification.
4. Azure certification.
5. Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
6. 5+ years of previous working experience in a similar position.
7. 5+ years of experience with SQL / SSIS / SSRS development, systems architecture design, business analysis, SQL server database administration, project management.
8. 2+ years of experience in Azure administration.
9. Expert knowledge in MS SQL Query creation, SSIS package and SSRS report creation.
10. Knowledge of PowerBI development, Azure data platform management, Azure administration, source control management, Microsoft Excel and Word.

This position involves management of the system support and development (IS) and information technology (IT) departments.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing strategic direction for the design, creation, integration, and implementation of software within the company.
2. Guiding on systems processes and technology (hardware and software) to ensure alignment with business processes.
3. Ensuring a smooth and efficient systems working environment for all staff nationally.
4. Providing cost reduction strategies through effective systems and hardware architecture.

Additional duties include financial control, service management, project management, business analysis, development, vendor management, training, and team leadership.
