Varsity College has a vacancy for a Business Application Coordinator. This position may be based at either Cape Town, Durban North, or Waterfall (Midrand) National Office.

The Business Application Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between brands and systems to ensure that business applications are effectively implemented, maintained, and aligned with organizational goals.

This role is responsible for coordinating the use, support, and enhancement of enterprise applications, providing training and support to users, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve business processes through technology.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate the day-to-day operation, support, and administration of key business applications – IMS and CRM.
  2. Act as a liaison between end users, technical teams, and vendors to identify and resolve application-related issues.
  3. Facilitate communication between AdvTech IT and the brand regarding system change requests and enhancements.
  4. Gather and document user requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system improvements.
  5. Support the implementation, testing, and rollout of new applications, modules, and system updates.
  6. Provide training, guidance, and documentation to end users to promote effective use of business systems.
  7. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  8. Assist analysts in reporting and ensuring data integrity across systems and reports.
  9. Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
  10. Stay informed of business application updates to ensure users are appropriately informed and trained.
  11. Manage helpdesk support, ensuring users' support tickets are resolved efficiently, including handling escalations when necessary.
Minimum Qualification Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

2–4 years of experience in business systems coordination, application support, or IT project management.

Salary
